Summer Holiday Public Speaking Workshop

This Summer Holiday there is the opportunity to take part in a one week Public Speaking Workshop in the Byng Hall at The Skinners’ School run by Voice and Speech coach and LAMDA Speech and Drama Teacher, Lucy Atkinson Parker. The days will include developing the ability to convey ideas effectively, speaking audibly and clearly, building confidence and enhancing communication and presentation skills, both of which are invaluable throughout life and essential when following a wide variety of career paths. The course will also cover how to structure a speech that will make an impact and how to present an engaging speech. The week will culminate in participants presenting in front of an audience, giving a speech on a topic of their choice. The course will take place from Monday 27th July – Friday 31st July. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
